Hello First Grade Families! My name is Alison Dibelka and I am your child’s teacher this year! This year is my 8th year teaching first grade at Assumption-Guadalupe. I have been involved in Catholic schools throughout my entire life and education. I attended St. Robert Bellarmine for grade school and middle school, then on to Skutt Catholic for high school. I went on to play volleyball for College of Saint Mary with a degree in Elementary Education. After college, I was a substitute teacher for Omaha Public Schools and coached Varsity volleyball at Mercy High School. Since then I have been married to my wonderful husband Dave for just under 3 years and received my Master’s degree through Doane College. We have a dog named Sully and live in a little house near Saint Thomas Moore.
